Sacred Valley Tour Full Day

This is one of the most recommended tours to do in Cusco. Beginning with Pisac Market this guided tour will talk about the distinct towns and archaeological sites of this incredible and picturesque corner of the world, The Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Famous for its Andean market and customs, here you can buy arts and crafts at very affordable prices. You can also taste some of the best chicken or cheese empanadas (with a touch of albahaca) of the region as well as visit the workshops of artisans working silver.

The bus will take you to the highest part of the complex, where the guide will give a brief explanation of the site and after this you will have some free time to enjoy the scenery (do not forget to bring your poncho or rain gear in the rainy season from October to May). Photography Tips: The Intihuatana or Sundial, the cemetery, and the terraces.

This is one of the last real Inca towns left. The indigenous people that live here to this day live under Inca customs surrounded by the Apus (Mountains believed to be their gods). They believe that these Apus protect them and the impressive complex made of beautiful terraces used for agriculture and religious purposes. The majority of the Inca constructions here remain intact.

Photography Tips: The Temple of the Sun, the Bath of the Ñusta (Inca concubine), and the Inca terraces.

Chinchero is well known because of its painting of the Virgin of Montserrat in its church and also for its archaeological site. Another thing Chinchero is really well known for are its traditional mantels that are made by skilful weavers that to this day use the same ancient traditional skills they have used for centuries.

Once completed the tour we begin our return trip to Cusco. This will take approximately 2 hours and you can use this time to take pictures of the sunset from the comfort of your seat. We will arrive in Cusco between 6:30 and 7 pm and you will be dropped off in Regocijo Square in the City Center.
